The Joyful Project is a fun and educational initiative designed to help workers in non-profit organizations feel better and improve their mental health. It focuses on teaching important topics about well-being and psychology through a board or card game.
Who is it for?
This project is primarily for employees and volunteers of non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The game will help them think about their own well-being and how they can support each other in their work.
How does it work?
In the game, players work together as a team. They will share their experiences, tackle challenges related to stress, and learn new ways to manage their mental health. By playing, they will promote important ideas about well-being and measure their success along the way.
Goals of the Project
The main goals of the Joyful Project are to:
-
Create a fun board or card game that teaches about well-being.
-
Help NGO workers improve their mental health and avoid burnout.
-
Provide trainers in NGOs with a useful tool to teach and engage their teams.
Why is it important?
Many people working in NGOs face high levels of stress and pressure. The Joyful Project aims to support their well-being, recognizing that when they feel good, they can do better work for the communities they serve.

The rulebook includes a section on additional game rules that highlight specific actions related to the Domain symbol on cards. These rules allow for varying difficulty levels tailored to players' experiences. Players are required to narrate how new Growth cards can assist them during gameplay, integrating personal insights to foster deeper engagement and understanding among team members.
